Heeling the Mind
Buddha Land Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Keighley
Sunday 17 Dec, 10am-5pm
Explore the practice of Medicine Buddha, which helps us dispel the negative minds that create inner pain and suffering.
According to Buddha all sickness and suffering, mental and physical, is caused by delusions such as anger, fear and attachment. These negative minds can feel deeply ingrained; but through connecting to Medicine Buddha we can experience the pure nature of our mind and heal ourselves of these inner diseases.
A day retreat is an opportunity to gain a deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings and have a special experience of inner peace.
Lunch and refreshments are available in our World Peace Cafe during the day retreat.
10am – 11.15am – Session 1 guided meditation
11.45am – 12.45pm – Session 2 guided meditation
2.15pm – 3.30pm – Session 3 guided meditation
4pm – 5pm – optional Session 4 (Heart Jewel with guided meditation)
The cost of the day retreat is £16 (Centre Membership Scheme £5).
