Mindfulness & Meditation
Buddha Land Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Keighley
Saturday 4 March, 10am – 1pm
By using the power of our mindfulness we can create a deep experience of peace and stability within our often busy and stressful lives.
Mindfulness seems to becoming an everyday word, but although it is popular, it is not often fully understood. Essentially mindfulness means staying focussed on or remembering something so it is also important to understand what to be mindful of.
In this course, using Buddhist teachings, we will practice meditations on learning to focus mindfully on a virtuous object – a special thought or feeling that gives rise to inner peace.
This course is suitable for beginners, or advanced meditators.
Workshops are a perfect way to both relax and develop internally. They are ideal for those who are new to meditation and those who would like to improve.
The cost of the workshop is £12 (GP Centre Card £5).
Refreshments are available in our World Peace Cafe during the workshop. Why not also stay for lunch afterwards?
