Transform Your Life
Buddha Land Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Keighley
Sunday 22 Oct, 10am-5pm
Unlock the hidden secrets of your mind by engaging in powerful guided meditations that you can put into practice in your everyday life, with immediate beneficial results.
On retreat we step back from our normal activities to focus on solving our problems through meditation practice. During this retreat day we will explore meditations that enable us to access and maintain inner peace and joy, even when experiencing difficulties. Connecting to the natural peace and joy within our mind opens us up to recognising and identifying with the potential for happiness, love, compassion and other good qualities that exist within each and everyone of us.
This retreat will be based on meditations and practises for daily life explained in the inspiring book ‘How to transform your life’ by Geshe Kelsang.
10am – 11.15am – Session 1 guided meditation
11.45am – 12.45pm – Session 2 guided meditation
2.15pm – 3.30pm – Session 3 guided meditation
4pm – 5pm – optional Session 4 (Heart Jewel with guided meditation)
The cost of the day retreat is £16 (Centre Membership Scheme £5).
Lunch and refreshments are available in our World Peace Cafe during the day retreat.
