Each class consists of guided meditations, a talk and discussion. They provide an ideal introduction to meditation and Buddhism.

Learn to Meditate - February 2010

A new series of meditation classes start in February. This new meditation course is open to anyone who wants to learn how to meditate. Meditation is something that everyone can learn and benefit from.

So much of the stress and tension we experience comes from our mind, and many of the problems we experience, including ill health, are caused or aggravated by this stress. Just by doing a simple meditation for ten or fifteen minutes each day we can reduce this stress, learn to relax and develop some peace of mind.

Our weekly meditation classes teach basic meditation techniques and the practice of Kadampa Buddhism. The purpose of these classes is to help people to gain personal experience of inner peace, to overcome their daily problems, and to find real happiness in their hearts.
