School and Group Visits
At Kashyapa Centre we have a school visit programme and are happy for schools or other organisations to visit our centre. We can also arrange a teacher to come to schools to give a talk to a class or lead an assembly.
If your school or other organisation would like to arrange a visit or a talk then please contact us and we will try to accommodate your wishes.
Each visit lasts about one hour and provides an opportunity to see an authentic Buddhist shrine and meditation room. Our teacher will give an explanation of Buddhism in general and also share their personal experience of being a Buddhist today and how they engage in their spiritual practice.
There is also a chance to listen to some Buddhist prayers and to engage in a short guided meditation.
Over the last few years our school visits have proven to be very popular, several schools have made repeated visits, and we get positive feedback from both pupils and teachers.
