Change Your Mind, Change Your World
Otley Court House, Otley
Saturday 27 April , 10am – 1pm
Buddha taught the things that we experience are not separate from our mind and that we can change our reality by changing our mind. Learn practical meditations for reducing our suffering and experience true peace of mind.
Examine the nature of reality and discover that so much of what we see is simply a projection of our own thoughts. It simply does not exist in the way that we think it does and by realizing this our suffering and problems can come to an end. Of all Buddha’s teachings, none are more transformative than his explanations of emptiness, the true nature of reality. It is through our understanding of emptiness that we can solve all our problems and be of maximum benefit to others.
‘’The purpose of understanding and meditating on emptiness is to release our mind from wrong conceptions and mistaken appearances so that we shall become a completely pure, or enlightened, being’’. Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Anyone can attend this meditation event; it is suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience. The cost of the workshop is £15 (GP Centre Card £5).
