Letting Go of Anger, Frustration and Irritation
Otley Court House, Otley
Saturday 6 Oct, 10am – 1pm cancelled due to sickness
Explore simple techniques for letting go of anger and maintaining a calm and positive mind when things go wrong.
We often respond to difficult situations by becoming unhappy and angry. However, this destroys our mental peace and prevents us from making positive decisions.
Anger harms our health, our relationships and our peace of mind. Buddha taught powerful methods for letting go of anger. Following this advice we can understand better why we get cross and how to prevent it.
This course will include guided meditations, which will help you to develop a peaceful and positive mind. Day Courses are an ideal way to learn more about meditation and inner peace. They are ideal for those who are new to meditation and those who would like to improve.
The cost of the workshop is £15 (GP Centre Card £5).
Unfortunately Annette is unwell and unable to teach the workshop so we have had to cancel it. There is an alternative oi you would still like to come in Keighley called Mindfulness for Busy People. Or alternatively the Overcoming anger course is running later in Bradford and Skipton.
This workshop will be taught by Annette Jeffrey, a student of the Foundation Programme at Buddha Land Buddhist Centre, Keighley
