Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Tara
Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre
Sunday 9 Jun, 10am – 4pm
Tara is a female Buddha, who embodies fearlessness & wisdom. Tara means ‘liberator’, as she works to free all beings from fear and suffering. The empowerment is a blissful guided meditation through which we make a deep connection with Tara and her enlightened qualities. Through receiving her powerful blessings we can swiftly actualize our own potential for fearless wisdom and compassionate action.
Day Courses are an ideal way to learn more about meditation and inner peace. They are ideal for those who are new to meditation and those who would like to improve.
Refreshments are available in our World Peace Cafe during the breaks.
The cost of the day course is £20 which includes lunch (£15 Monthly Members)
The empowerment will be granted by Gen Kelsang Päljin the Resident Teacher of Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre and of Buddha Land Buddhist Centre, Keighley. He is a Buddhist monk with over 18 years’ experience of practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism.
