In this short talk, Kadam Bridget Heyes will introduce practical Buddhist methods to help you lift your spirits, and find hope and meaning in your life.
Kadam Bridget will explain how we can become the person that we want to be, by learning to let go of unhelpful thoughts and attitudes. She will also teach how to identify with our pure potential, how to achieve lasting peace of mind through meditation and how to bring real benefit to others.
About the teacher
Kadam Bridget Heyes is the principal teacher at Nagarjuna Kadampa Meditation Centre, near Northampton. She is a senior disciple of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and has been practising Kadampa Buddhism for over 25 years. In 2009, Kadam Bridget was elected as the NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director of the UK.
Kadam Bridget is known for her powerful teachings, compassionate heart, and deep understanding of Buddha’s wisdom advice. Her teachings are exceptionally clear and she presents profound ideas in a way that are easy to practise and integrate into daily life. Kadam Bridget shows an inspiring example for everyone on the spiritual path.
