Bodhisattva’s Confession of Moral Downfall
Half Day Course
@ Buddha Land KMC, Keighley
Saturday 20 December, 2pm – 5pm
In-person
In this half day course we will learn about – and practice – a beautiful purification ritual that helps clear away difficulties in developing faith and conviction in Dharma and in making progress on the stages of the path to enlightenment.
Using recorded prayers as our guide, we will engage in three types of traditional practices: prostration, purification and dedication. The centerpiece of the practice entails visualizing the Thirty-five Confession Buddhas and practicing purification in their presence.
A brief explanation of the practice and its purpose will be given, but the emphasis in both sessions will be on engaging in lightly guided meditation with prayers and prostrations. There will be opportunities for questions and discussion. The practice is suitable for all physical abilities.
Refreshments are available in our World Peace Café during the course.
The cost of the Meditation Half Day Course is £15 (Monthly Members £5, FP Monthly Members £0).
Our monthly membership programme offers access to all our weekly classes as well as discounts on courses for only £20 per month – Learn more.
