Death and Dying – a Buddhist Perspective
Meditation Half Day Course
@ Buddha Land KMC, Keighley
Saturday 25 October, 2pm – 5pm
In-person & Livestream
None of us can remain in this life forever and we all must eventually pass from this life. Take time to explore the ideas of death and rebirth and discover how understanding our own mortality can be a powerful motivator for creating meaningful change and inner transformation.
Preparing for death is one of the kindest and wisest things we can do for both ourself and others. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
Death is one of the great mysteries of life. Few people understand what happens when we die, and how important it is for us to prepare for this inevitable event that we shall all experience. Buddha explains with great clarity what happens during the death process, and by understanding this, how we can use this knowledge to make our life truly meaningful.
This course is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to experienced meditators.
Refreshments are available in our World Peace Café during the course.
